The "BlueBarn" 

Although the "BlueBarn" has experienced several shades of color, dirt and siding over the years, it has become the endearing term we use to describe our 1921 built house. It's Dutch Colonial design has been a common theme in the community of Lynden, WA where we live.

The "BlueBarn" recently underwent a facelift which included a full strip off of the old wood siding which was badly deteriorated and damaged, insulation, vapor barriers and now a new HardiPlank siding. Special thanks goes to several friends and family who helped re-side the house as well as apply cases of caulk and several gallons of paint.

After a recent cold spell, the "BlueBarn" and it's inhabitants are extremely greatful for the warmer inside which it allowed.
